SIX SAYRE, FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 9, 1934 Nine Posts Are Filled For Tilt Against Athens Co-Captains Loughran and Lewis Compete for Left Halfback Position; Snook or Eastham to Start for Waverly WAVERLY, Nov. 9-Filling of two positions on the starting lineup for the Athens game at Athens tomorrow will 1 not be completed until after the Waverly high school football team holds its final rehearsal this afternoon, according to Coach R. At right end the competitors for the berth are Snook, who has been on the start- EVERYTHING FOR CARS TRUCKS BUSSES AUTO STORES PHONE 71 377 Broad Waverly, N. Eastham has given some good accounts of himself and now is considered on a par with the player who has been considered the varsity man for the post. The co-captains are the bidders for the left halfback seat. Jimmie Loughren has been in most of the season while Cass Lewis was on the bench with a leg injury. Last week, however, Lewis took the helm against Sayre and stayed 1 in during the entire fray. One point his favor is his ability at punting, a task which fell on Jack DeMunn's toe while Cass was bench warming.

The remainder of the lineup will be the same as opened the Sayre battle: left end, Sidey; left tackle, Edwards; left guard, Eddy; center, Giroux; right guard, Merrill; right tackle, Felt; right Eastham or Snook; quarterback, Field; right halfback, John DeMunn; left halfback, Loughren or Lewis; and fullback, Jack DeMunn. None of the Red and White players are on the injured list now except Patterson who is definitely out of the game for the remainder of the season due to a head injury suffered in the Owego game. A.
