*The Premier Checking account is limited to one account per primary member with up to one joint owner.

Your account must be open and in good standing (not over-the-limit or past due) to earn or redeem points. Visa Debit Card reward points require signature-authorized transactions to earn points. PIN-based, point-of-sale, ATM transactions, cash withdrawals, and checks do not earn points. Points are not to be earned or accumulated for cash advances, convenience checks, traveler’s check purchases, finance charges, late fees, annual fees, over-limit fees or transaction fees.

Premier Checking is subject to a $15.00 monthly fee. To avoid this fee, you must maintain a combined average daily share balance of $15,000 or more and an aggregate minimum of $1,000 monthly direct deposit(s) to your primary account.

Transactions from a savings account are subject to our Truth in Savings Disclosure and Account Agreement.

A fee is assessed for each overdraft (“Privilege Pay”) item paid (total items up to a maximum limit of $500 including Privilege Pay item fees) as set forth in the Fee Schedule. You have 30 days to repay the negative balance; however, we will withdraw funds from other accounts as early as the following day if funds are available to bring the negative balance current. If your account remains negative for more than 30 days, Privilege Pay will be suspended or revoked until your account returns to good standing. Privilege Pay is not available for estate, organizational, custodial, infant compromise, memorial, or guardian/conservator accounts.

One box of HVCU custom checks annually.

Premier Checking Primary Account holders will receive a rate reduction of 0.25%. Additional discounts may apply when loan payments are automatically transferred from any HVCU savings, checking, or tiered money market account for the life of the loan. The monthly payment is not decreased as a result of this discounted rate. Does not apply to Flex Lock HELOCs. Does not apply to introductory rate periods or other promotional rate offers.

Earn 25% bonus reward points on Credit Card purchases. Bonus does not apply to debit card purchases.

Members that are primary on an open Premier Checking Account at the time of mortgage closing will receive a $350 statement credit within 7 business days of funding. The mortgage must close within 90 days of receipt of application to be eligible. Offer valid on first mortgage purchases and non-HVCU refinances. Home Equity products and commercial mortgages are not eligible for this offer. No exceptions will be made or considered. May be subject to IRS reporting. Consult a tax professional as to reporting requirements, as this offer is not intended to provide tax advice or guidance. This offer is not guaranteed if your account is not in good standing, or if you do not meet our credit criteria and/or underwriting criteria and may be discontinued or changed without further notice to you.

ATM owner may assess an out-of-network fee.

Teen Checking: APY=Annual Percentage Yield. The APY is 0.02%, effective as of 5/30/24, and is subject to change without notice. The minimum balance to open a Teen Checking is $0.00. An adult at least 18 years of age must be joint. Minor must also have a Primary Savings account with a $5 minimum balance. Fees could reduce earnings.

Members 65 or older with an HVCU checking account and no Visa Debit Card, are eligible for 25 check copies annually, 25 statement copies annually, one box of HVCU custom checks annually at no additional charge, and 12 surcharge-free ATM transactions at non-HVCU ATMs monthly.
