I am getting a 3d vision monitor and 3d vision 2 kit at the end of the month. The nvidia site and the 3d vision drivers say madden nfl 08 is playable with it. I was wondering if anyone has tried nvidia 3d vision or tridef 3d for amd cards with madden nfl 08? And has anyone tried it with the ffxiii mod?

ordering the 3d vision monitor today. a 27 inch asus 3d vision 2 monitor. vg278he. it's a 144hz refresh rate monitor without the 3d vision goggles. Getting the 3d vision kit with my tax return later in may.

well, My tax return is small (less than 100) so I will be picking up the 3d vision 2 glasses at the end of may.

-2x ocz agility 3 90gb sata 3 (6gbps) solid state drives in raid 0 (180gb total,128 kb stripes on onboard intel raid controller)
-pioneer bdr-208dbk 15x bluray writer
-antec 80 plus platinum 650 watt power supply
-antec vsk-4000e atx case
-asus vg278he 27' 144hz refresh rate 3d vision 2 monitor (madden nfl 08 pc recognizes 144hz but will only play at 120hz)
-xbox 360 controller for windows
-steelseries sensei mlg edition mouse (16,000 dpi mouse)
-steelseries 6gv2 keyboard (full keyboard anti ghosting)
-speakers are in asus vg278he monitor (2x2watt speakers)

I am curious if you are up and running with the 3d.......and how it looks......and is it worth messing with......and does it work with Texmod or modified dats?

That's what I want to find out. I have the ffxiii final 2 release mod but I still need to get the 3d glasses for nvidia. Won't be until the end of the month. I will asap when I get them.

The ffxiii mod release 2 works just fine with nvidia 3d vision 2. Really cool too. instead of a gtx 680 amp I am currently using a gtx 560 1gb gigabyte super overclocked. The rest of my specs are the same. Will be getting a pny gtx 660 ti 2gb at the end of june.

also asked Nvidia directly about the shadowplay game recorder that uses the kepler (gtx 600 and 700 series only) h.264 nvenc encoder to record gameplay similar to FRAPS but without the performance hit with 3d vision. I was told that shadowplay can't record 3d vision gameplay from Nvidia but on the nvidia geforce forums users have told me that they have recorded 3d vision gameplay with shadowplay from other games and posted them on the 3d vision live page. Then I asked Nvidia if they were going to support the shadowplay for 3d vision in future releases. They gave me the NDA treatment and told me that they could not discuss future options of unreleased products. BTW, Shadowplay is due to come out on tuesday june 25 when they also release the new gtx 760.
